How we handle personal information on this website, which is deliberately little: no cookies, no analytics, no trackers. Effective: AUG 2026.
This notice explains how KeyStone OS Inc. ("KeyStone", "we", "us") handles personal information in connection with this website. For the purposes of UK and EU data protection law, KeyStone is the controller of that information. Contact: legal@keystoneos.xyz.
This notice covers the website alone. The KeyStone network, the KeyStone Protocol, the testnet and any related service are provided under separate written agreements, and the handling of information in those services is governed by those agreements.
What you give us: if you request a briefing or write to us, we receive what you submit, which is typically your name, firm, role, work email address and whatever you choose to say. If you write to careers, we receive what you send about yourself.
What arrives technically: like every website, ours is served by infrastructure that records ordinary server logs, including IP addresses, request times and browser information, used for operating and securing the site. The site offers no visitor accounts; the console sign-in serves firms provisioned under the separate agreements described above.
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising trackers and no pixels, and it builds no profiles of its visitors. We do not sell personal information, and we make no automated decisions about anyone. If any of this changes, this notice will change first, and visibly.
We use what you submit to respond to you, to conduct the firm's business with you and your firm, and to keep records a regulated counterparty is expected to keep. In the language of UK and EU law, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and promoting the firm, on steps taken at your request prior to a contract, and on consent where the law requires it, which you may withdraw.
The site's typefaces are served by Google Fonts. When the site loads, your browser requests those files from Google, which discloses your IP address and browser information to Google, governed by Google's own privacy policy. This is presently the site's only third party request. Firms named elsewhere on this site as infrastructure partners receive no information about visitors to it.
We share personal information only with the service providers that run our infrastructure, such as hosting and email, with our professional advisers under duties of confidence, and where the law requires disclosure. Nobody receives it for their own marketing.
Information connected with this site is handled in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and the United States. Where information protected by UK or EU law is transferred to the United States, we use safeguards recognised by that law, such as approved standard contractual clauses.
We keep correspondence and briefing requests for as long as the relationship or enquiry they belong to stays live, and afterwards for as long as the firm's legal and regulatory obligations require. When neither applies, they are deleted.
Under UK and EU law you may ask for access to your personal information, its correction or deletion, restriction of or objection to its processing, and its portability. Depending on where you live in the United States, state law may give you similar rights. Write to legal@keystoneos.xyz and we will answer within the time the law allows.
If you are unhappy with our answer, you may complain to your supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
We protect personal information with measures proportionate to what this site actually holds, which is deliberately little. The firm's broader security posture, including the independent assurance work in progress, is described on the Settlement Compliance page.
This site is published for institutional audiences and is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.
We may revise this notice from time to time. The version published on this page is the version in force, and its effective date is stated above. Material changes will be dated, so that the record of what applied, and when, stays checkable.
